Case Studies

The Smart-A case studies will serve as a “reality check” and will be carried out in those countries where the focus groups will have been performed.

A typical case study will feature a sequence of three full-day workshops, involving experts from appliance manufacturers, electric utilities, consumer organisations, renewable energy generators and other relevant stakeholders.
Participants will discuss the preliminary results of the Smart-A project with as main objective to derive how to practically implement the findings and recommendations on the ground, taking into account the local framework conditions (structure of regional electricity network, preferences of users in the region…).
